There has been a noticeable increase in the number of people infected with the new “Omicron” mutant strains of the Coronavirus, especially serious infections, as confirmed by the Israeli Ministry of Health.
According to the Hebrew Kan Radio, the Ministry has updated health funds in preparation for giving infected people vaccines immediately after the “Sukkot” holiday in the coming days.
It is expected that about 200,000 new vaccines will arrive today that have properties that adapt to the new strains of Omicron.
This will represent the first shipment of new vaccines that will arrive in Israel, produced by Moderna.
