On Sunday evening, Israeli Army Radio revealed the arrival of an official government delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The first Israeli delegation of its kind will participate in a conference organized by UNESCO in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to the same source, the delegation, consisting of representatives of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, does not include any minister from Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, although it was supposed to be attended by Foreign Minister Eli Cohen and Education Minister Yoav Kisch.
It pointed out that Saudi Arabia refused to grant visas to the two Israeli ministers, who in turn apologized for attending at an American request to prevent sabotage of communications efforts with Saudi Arabia to normalize relations.
