Israeli occupation forces closed the Dotan checkpoint – located on the lands of the town of Ya`bad, southwest of Jenin – after Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire at the checkpoint on Friday.
Eyewitnesses Palestinian vehicle opened fire at the checkpoint and clashed with the Israeli forces, then fled.
The occupation army announced that it would close the checkpoint, and called in military reinforcements to the entrance of Ya`bad to search or the shooters.
