The President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, decried the "abhorrent racism" of the burning the Holy Quran in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, on Thursday.
The president's spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said, "The president expressed his denunciation and deep disgust at this racist crime, which would fuel feelings of hatred between peoples and nations."
The president called for "the language of tolerance and dialogue," instead of the "abhorrent racism."
