The Israeli Knesset Speaker, Amir Ohana, will travel to Morocco on Wednesday, at the invitation of the country's Parliament Speaker, Rashid Talbi Alami.
According to the Hebrew newspaper Maariv, this will be the first visit of its kind by the Speaker of the Knesset to the parliament of an Islamic country.
Ohana will sign an official memorandum of understanding with his scientific counterpart to strengthen relations between the two sides.
