Today, Sunday, the Israeli Supreme Court rejected the petition to evacuate the village of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar, which is built on the lands of the village of Abu Dis, on the road leading to Jericho, east of occupied Jerusalem.
The court rejected the petition's demand for the government to immediately demolish Khan al-Ahmar and displace its residents.
She said, "The demolition of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar will be carried out in accordance with the government's decision and vision, based on security and political considerations."
The petition, which calls on the government to implement the decision to demolish the Palestinian village and displace its residents, was submitted by the far-right "Regavim" organization, which works to promote the settlement project and accelerate the demolition of Palestinian buildings in Area C.
