The General Investigation Department arrested the main suspect in the armed robbery that took place the day before yesterday at a bank branch in the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus.
The media spokesman for the police, Colonel Louay Arziqat, said that after searches, investigations and vigorous follow-up by the General Investigation Branch of the Nablus Governorate Police and the Aqraba Center, the suspects were identified and a follow-up process is underway to arrest them. A search warrant was obtained from the Public Prosecution. A force went to his house and searched it. They seized a weapon used in the crime and an amount of stolen money.
Arzikat confirmed that the suspect was arrested and the weapon and the amount of money were investigated until the necessary legal procedures were completed, and the follow-up process continues for the rest of the people involved in the crime.
