Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh received an official invitation from his Egyptian counterpart, Mustafa Madbouly , to visit Egypt.
This came during his reception, today, Monday, in his office in Ramallah, the Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine, Ihab Suleiman.
The Prime Minister extended his thanks and appreciation to his Egyptian counterpart for the official invitation to visit, saying: "I am honored and accepted by this invitation, as it embodies the strengthening and depth of bilateral relations, the outcomes of which will undoubtedly be positive for both sides."
Shtayyeh discussed with the Egyptian ambassador ways to enhance cooperation in many fields, praising Egypt's historical role and its supportive and steadfast position on Palestine.
The Prime Minister briefed the Egyptian Ambassador on the latest political developments and the escalating violations of the occupation forces and settlers against our people, our land and our sanctities.
