Finance Minister Shukri Bishara said, during a press conference held today, Wednesday, in the city of Ramallah, that there is no other salary for public employees before Eid Al-Fitr.
Bishara added that salary and semi-salary inflation exceeded 100% of the total revenues of the Palestinian Authority.
He pointed out that the value of the salary bill rose to $3.7 billion by the end of 2022, down from $2.9 billion by the end of 2018.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh had previously announced a salary for employees for the current month of April, which will be paid before Eid al-Fitr.
