Last night, the Israeli occupation forces leveled about 10 dunums of lands in Yasuf village , east of Salfit .
The deputy head of the Yasuf village council, Wael Madi, stated that the occupation bulldozers began to bulldoze lands belonging to citizens of the village in the "Za'tara" area, east of the town, near the Za'tara military checkpoint, in favor of settlement expansion.
In turn, the governor of Salfit, Abdullah Kamil, said that the bulldozing operation comes in the context of the occupation's comprehensive aggression and its continuous terror against our people and their land.
He stressed that these violations will not intimidate our Palestinian people, but will increase their steadfastness and adherence to their land and rights, and their determination to confront the occupation and its racist policies.
It is noteworthy that the village of Yasouf is subjected to a systematic Israeli settlement attack, which was recently represented by the uprooting and breaking of dozens of perennial olive trees and the razing of lands.
