A SpaceX spacecraft carrying four astronauts docks with the International Space Station

LOS ANGELES - (Xinhua) -- The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft carrying four astronauts arrived at the International Space Station Thursday and docked with the complex.


The Crew-5 mission will take NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Kasada, along with Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata and Roscosmos astronaut Anna Kikina to the International Space Station.


The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon spacecraft took off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida Wednesday noon ET. The spacecraft arrived at the International Space Station at 5:01 p.m. ET Thursday.


During their time in the orbiting laboratory, the crew will conduct more than 200 science experiments and technology demonstration applications in areas such as human health and lunar fuel systems, according to SpaceX.
