Al-Bireh - "Al-Quds" dot-com - The national campaign to recover the bodies of the martyrs and the municipality of Al-Bireh opened today, Thursday, the mural of the martyr's mother, which embodies the hope of hundreds of mothers of martyrs whose bodies are held by the occupation, for the funeral of their martyr sons in a manner befitting their national and human dignity.
The artwork was drawn by the artist Fouad Al-Yamani and inspired by the image of the Palestinian photographer Alaa Badarneh by Hajja Najma Hamdouni, who worships the Jenin district, mourning her son, the captive martyr Yasser Hamdouni, who rose after 14 years in the occupation prisons.
This action comes as the occupation continues to detain the bodies of 118 male and female martyrs since the return of the detention policy in 2015, in addition to 256 martyrs in the number graves.
The mural was painted on the wall of the new Al-Bireh secondary school for girls / opposite the Ammar tower in the city of Al-Bireh.
