The "Global Resilience Fleet" announced in an official press release that Israeli naval occupation forces illegally intercepted its peaceful convoy heading to the Gaza Strip and kidnapped hundreds of international volunteers.
The statement clarified that the occupation forces intercepted the convoy, which included volunteers from 47 countries, using water cannons and spraying foul water to disrupt the ships' course, before armed soldiers systematically stormed it in international waters.
The fleet described this act as "an act of aggression" and "a continuing war crime."
The organizers confirmed that the occupation forces established a maritime blockade in international waters and forcibly took the ships to Ashdod port, where more than 443 kidnapped volunteers are expected to be "processed" for illegal trials.
The statement considered the interception of relief ships in international waters to be a flagrant violation of international law and fundamental human rights, amounting to a war crime.
The fleet called on governments, world leaders, and international institutions for immediate intervention to ensure information about the missing participants, guarantee their safety, and demand their immediate release.
The statement emphasized that "every act of repression against our fleet, every escalation of violence in Gaza, and every attempt to suppress solidarity events will only increase our determination."
The statement confirmed the illegal interception of the following ships: Free Willy (Poland) Captain Nikos (Poland) Florida (Poland) All In (France) Karma Oxygono (Poland) Mohammad Bhar (Netherlands) Jeannot (Spain) Seulle (Poland) Hio (Poland) Morgana (Italy) Otaria (Italy) Grande Blu (Poland) Deir Yassine (Algeria) Huga (Poland) Aurora (Italy) Yulara (Spain) Spectre (Spain) Adara (Spain) Alma (United Kingdom) Sirius (United Kingdom).
The statement noted that the French-flagged ship Mikeno had entered Palestinian territorial waters but remains out of communication.
Meanwhile, the Polish-flagged ship Marinette continues its journey while connected via "Starlink," with 6 passengers on board.
Every act of repression against our fleet, every escalation of violence in Gaza, will only increase our determination.
