Amidst the blood, and under the showers of bullets fired from aid ambushes, the hungry walk with slow steps, with broken hearts and intestines wrung with the pain of hunger, loss and suffering, towards centers that raise slogans of humanity, while behind their banners hide snipers who are skilled at hunting prey, sometimes from long distances, and sometimes from zero distance, when the meager morsels of the hungry approach their mouths, and they die of hunger after spending several days with their children on the ground.
One might ask, what drives people to repeat the experience, traveling long distances, even though its victims have exceeded 100 since the aid ambushes were set up in response to international pressure, rather than a hidden and concealed awakening of consciences regarding the ongoing genocide, for the twentieth month without respite? It is hunger that the people of Gaza find themselves at the bottom of its bottomless embers, with no imminent prospect of escape from it.
On this great day, when prayers are answered and there is no day better before God than it, we raise our hands in supplication to God Almighty to relieve the distress of our people in the Gaza Strip, remove their worries, calm their spirits, and stop their bloodshed.
