Siege, raids and arrests in the West Bank

Israeli occupation forces launched raids and arrests in the West Bank on Tuesday.

In Jericho, Israeli occupation forces have continued to tighten their military measures around the Jericho Governorate, besieging it since last night.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces continue to tighten their military measures at the main and secondary entrances to Jericho.

In Nablus, occupation forces stormed the town of Qablan, raiding and searching a number of homes, but no arrests were reported.

Israeli special forces also surrounded a home belonging to the Odeh family on Al-Taawun Street, shot and arrested Yazan Odeh.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces sent more reinforcements from the Al-Murabba'a checkpoint and the Al-Tur area, amid widespread deployment in the area and the closure of roads leading to the area.

She said that the occupation forces stormed Tal Al-Taawun Street and assaulted an 86-year-old man, who was then transported by Red Crescent ambulance to Rafidia Hospital.

In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested three young men from the eastern farm: the brothers Muhammad and Mahmoud Saeed Hijaz, and the young man Amir Alqam Zaban. They also arrested the young man Hadi Bashar Mustafa Barghouti from the village of Kobar, after raiding their homes and ransacking their contents.

In the same context, occupation forces stormed Al-Manara Roundabout in the center of Ramallah and the village of Deir Nizam, northwest of the city, without any reported raids or arrests.
