Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi hinted in a letter to army officers on Friday that he intends to resign from his post after the investigations into the failures of October 7 and the course of the war on Gaza and Lebanon are completed.
Halevi wrote in his letter that "at the end of the investigations we will make personal decisions and impose responsibility on the officers, from me on down. I have no intention of overriding personal decisions when the picture becomes clear to us."
