The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation quoted Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich as saying that the Gaza Strip should be occupied and its population reduced to less than half of its current population.
He added, "We have an opportunity with the Trump administration to encourage voluntary migration from Gaza, and within two years the number of Palestinians can be reduced by half."
