Today, Thursday, Israeli warplanes targeted a car on a public road in Araya, Mount Lebanon Governorate.
The "Traffic Control" page on the "X" platform reported that traffic was cut off on Al-Kahala Road in both directions due to a security incident, and that it was diverted upwards towards the Basous area and downwards towards Shwit.
This comes after an Israeli airstrike targeted a Hezbollah minibus carrying ammunition on Wednesday while it was traveling on an international road linking Beirut to the Bekaa Valley bordering Syria, killing its driver. In another attack in the nearby town of Qamatiyeh, an Israeli airstrike on a four-wheel drive vehicle killed two people inside, who were not identified due to the charring of their bodies.
A source told Agence France-Presse that "an Israeli airstrike targeted a minibus on the Kahala-Ariya road, killing its driver."
