The Israeli occupation authorities seized, by virtue of a seizure order “for military and security purposes,” 57,252 dunums of citizens’ land in the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya.
The military order, numbered T/65/24, aims to create a buffer zone around the settlement of "Kedumim", and is valid until December 31, 2028, according to a statement issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission on Monday.
The Authority explained that the military order is positioned around the "Kedumim" settlement, east of the village of Kafr Qaddum, and is connected by a longitudinal section with Road No. 55. Its danger lies in depriving citizens of access to hundreds of dunams surrounding the settlement, which fall within the scope of the specific order.
