The UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Gaza said that Israeli eviction orders during the current month of August have displaced 250,000 Palestinians.
In contempt of the international community, Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate halt, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
Deir al-Balah Municipality reported that 100,000 citizens were displaced from the east of the city during the past two days, and 20 shelters were out of service.
Deir al-Balah is home to hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians, especially in the city centre and its western areas.
