Politically, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced its adherence to its declared demands for concluding an agreement, foremost among which are the return of the displaced to their homes and the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources said that Israeli gunboats bombed - this Friday morning - a school in the new camp, north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in one martyr and a number of wounded.
The targeting of the new camp comes amid intense bombardment of the central Gaza Strip, coinciding with the military operation launched by the Israeli army in the region approximately 24 hours ago.
Al-Aqsa TV said that the Israeli army carried out an air and artillery bombardment tonight on the northern areas of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The channel added that the Israeli forces threw smoke bombs north of the Nuseirat camp.
This bombing coincides with a new Israeli military operation in the center of the Gaza Strip.
