An Israeli army spokesman said that his forces have not defeated the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in northern Gaza yet, explaining to CNN that the operation is difficult and its combat terrain is as well.
For his part, the commander of the Israeli Armored Forces said that they are close to completing their mission in the northern Gaza Strip, adding, “The objectives in the northern part have almost been achieved and we have begun moving in other parts,” according to what Reuters reported.
