US Senator Bernie Sanders said on Sunday that he has no doubt that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is practicing “ethnic cleansing” in the Gaza Strip by displacing 80 percent of its population.

Sanders added, in an interview with CNN: “I have no doubt that Netanyahu is carrying out ethnic cleansing in Gaza by displacing 80 percent of its population.”

The Democratic Senator explained that “accusing Israel of killing 33,000 Palestinians is not anti-Semitism, but rather a clarification of the facts.”

Sanders stressed that “anti-Semitism is disgusting, but what the Netanyahu government is doing in Gaza is unprecedented.”
