Hezbollah denies any involvement in firing rockets towards Israel.

Lebanon's Hezbollah denied on Saturday any involvement in the rocket fire from southern Lebanon towards Israel.

Hezbollah said in a statement: "It denies any connection to the launching of rockets from southern Lebanon into the occupied Palestinian territories," stressing that "the Israeli enemy's allegations come within the context of pretexts for continuing its attacks on Lebanon, which have not stopped since the announcement of the ceasefire."

According to the statement, Hezbollah affirmed its commitment to the ceasefire agreement and that it stands behind the Lebanese state in addressing this dangerous Zionist escalation against Lebanon.

The Israeli occupation army announced this morning, Saturday, that its air defense system intercepted missiles fired from Lebanon toward the settlement of Metula, without causing any injuries or damage. This is the first such attack since December 2024.

Britain, Germany and France call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza

Britain, Germany, and France called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, demanding that Israel fully respect international law and allow the flow of humanitarian aid into the Strip.

This came in a joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of the three countries on Friday, in which they affirmed that "the resumption of Israeli attacks on Gaza is a tragic step backward for the people of Gaza, the prisoners and their families, and the entire region."

"We are horrified by the civilian casualties and call for an immediate return to the ceasefire," the statement added.

He pointed out that a return to fighting would only lead to the deaths of more Palestinian civilians and Israeli prisoners, emphasizing that further bloodshed is in no one's interest.

He stressed that Israel must fully respect international law and allow the immediate flow of aid.

He called on Israel to resume the delivery of humanitarian aid, including water and electricity, and to ensure access to medical care and temporary medical evacuation in accordance with international humanitarian law.

Since resuming its genocide in Gaza at dawn on Tuesday and continuing until Saturday, Israel has killed 634 Palestinians and injured 1,172 others, most of them women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

This escalation, which Tel Aviv said was taking place in full coordination with Washington, represents the most significant violation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, the second phase of which Israel refrained from implementing after the first phase expired in early March.

Despite Hamas's commitment to all terms of the agreement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to proceed with the second phase, yielding to pressure from extremists within his government.

Witkov: Normalization between Israel, Syria, and Lebanon is now possible.

US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steven Witkoff, indicated that "normalization of relations between Lebanon, Syria, and Israel has become a real possibility." Speaking about Abu Mohammed al-Julani, who heads Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and currently heads the Syrian government, despite the group remaining on the US terrorist list, he said, "Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa has changed from what he was."

In his interview with journalist Tucker Carlson, Witkoff stated, "I believe that Lebanon is capable of normalizing relations with Israel, literally by signing a peace treaty between the two countries. It is indeed possible. The same applies to Syria."

Witkoff noted that Shara has evolved over time, saying, "People change. You're a completely different person at 55 than you were at 35. I personally realize that at 68, I'm not the same person I was 30 years ago. Ahmed Shara, formerly known as Abu Mohammed al-Julani in Syria, is probably a different person now. They've kicked Iran out of there."

Witkoff emphasized that normalizing relations between Lebanon and Israel, and then Syria and Israel, could be part of a broader effort to achieve peace in the region. He added, "Imagine if Lebanon normalized relations with Israel, then Syria did the same, and Saudi Arabia signed a normalization agreement with Israel after achieving peace in Gaza. This would be a prerequisite for normalization with Saudi Arabia."

He stressed that such steps could lead to the formation of an alliance among the Gulf states to work together to ensure regional stability.

For the 61st consecutive day, Israeli occupation's aggression against Jenin and its camp continues, with bulldozing and burning homes.

The Israeli occupation army continues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the 61st consecutive day, amidst bulldozing and burning homes, and converting others into military barracks.

Israeli occupation forces arrested three citizens from the town of Ya'bad, south of Jenin, at dawn today, after storming the town and raiding homes there. Since the start of the aggression on the city and the camp, they have intensified their raids on towns and villages in Jenin Governorate, launching widespread arrest campaigns, conducting field investigations, and raiding and searching homes.

Last Wednesday, occupation forces notified the demolition of approximately 66 homes in the neighborhoods of Al-Hawashin, Al-Aloub, Azzam Mosque, Joura Al-Dhahab, and Al-Samran. Residents are demanding that they be allowed to access their homes and remove their essential belongings before the demolition.

The occupation continues to send military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers to Jenin camp, while bulldozing, vandalizing streets, and paving new roads continues.

The occupation forces also continue to fire live ammunition around Jenin camp, and infantry units continue to move inside the camp and through its alleys and neighborhoods.

During the 61 days, the occupation forces arrested approximately 227 citizens from the Jenin Governorate and conducted dozens of field investigations with citizens.

According to the Jenin Municipality, the occupation forces have bulldozed 100% of the streets in Jenin camp and nearly 80% of the city's streets, while the residents of 3,200 homes in the camp have been displaced.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the city and camp of Jenin has left 34 martyrs and dozens more injured and detained.

The next decisive battle in the Gaza Strip

Hamada Faraana

Hamada Faraana

Is there a crime that the colonial forces have not committed against the people of the Gaza Strip, such as: starving and preventing the entry of food supplies, preventing the supply of electricity and withholding water, cutting off roads to prevent civilians from moving from one area to another, forcing them to forcibly move to empty areas for the benefit of the occupation forces’ military activity, killing approximately fifty thousand people, and wounding, injuring and disabling many times that number, more than one hundred thousand innocent civilians.

At dawn on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, the occupation forces resumed their aerial, naval, and ground bombardment of civilian sites, neighborhoods, and homes, along with a limited, partial invasion of ground forces toward buffer zones that achieve the goals of oppressing the population, paralyzing life, and fragmenting the geography of the Gaza Strip, in order to facilitate the occupation forces’ program and plan against the Palestinian resistance and incite its popular base against it.

The negotiations, as agreed upon with the colonial government, in January 2025, were abandoned in their second phase, after the successful implementation of the first phase, despite the complications that accompanied it, forcing Netanyahu to agree to it and implement its gradual steps, but he refused to commit to negotiations to implement the second phase, aiming to "strip" the resistance of its most important and powerful card: the Israeli prisoners, without committing to the requirements of the gradual withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

America: The United States provided all the capabilities, means, and weapons to enable the colony to continue its brutal, brutal, and aggressive war against the Palestinian people to achieve the colony’s goals:

1- Eliminating and ending the Palestinian resistance, 2- Releasing Israeli prisoners without an exchange, 3- Reducing the number of Palestinian people, whether by killing or forcing them to leave Palestine and become displaced and homeless.

The mediators, quite clearly: Qatar and Egypt, cannot expose, lay bare, and disgrace the Israeli negotiator, because in doing so they would lose their role as mediators. They also lack any leverage, which is why they have refused to offer guarantees that what is agreed upon will be implemented, and because they are unable to enforce the implementation of any agreement that may be reached.

The Israeli attack began with killing and destruction at dawn on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. The Palestinian resistance has no choice but to stand firm, bear the consequences, and cling to the Israeli prisoners, the most important card in all confrontations between the two sides. The resistance factions do not have the ability to submit to surrender, give up their weapons, and hand over the Israeli prisoners without achieving gains through stopping the aggression, an Israeli withdrawal, and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

The Palestinians have held out for so long, but they have not yet won. The Israelis have failed, but they have not yet been defeated. Therefore, Tuesday's battle and the battles that follow will produce results that have not been achieved since October 8, 2023: no victory for any side, no decisive defeat for any other. Because of the Israeli failure and Netanyahu's personal, partisan, and official interests, he has worked to replace his political, military, and security leaders: 1- The Minister of Defense, 2- The Chief of Staff, 3- The Director of Intelligence. The first was replaced as the Minister of Defense, the second as the Chief of Staff, and the third has not yet been replaced. These changes were made regarding their military and field plans to implement the Netanyahu government's program after Ben Gvir was attached to it, which are: eliminating the resistance, releasing Israeli prisoners, reducing the Palestinian human presence through killing, and making the Gaza Strip unfit for life and pushing the Palestinians toward a forced or voluntary departure under pressure.

An open battle has been ongoing since Tuesday, March 18, 2025, extending what preceded it and what will follow, with strong American support for the colony and without any real, serious levers of support for the Palestinians.

Dark Factories - China's Bright Future

Abdul Rahman Al-Khatib / Artificial Intelligence Specialist

The industrial revolution has always been associated with massive leaps in productivity, but as we enter the era of artificial intelligence and full automation, the question today is: Are we witnessing the end of the human role in industry? China, with its technological capabilities and leadership in manufacturing, has effectively entered the era of "dark factories"—production facilities operated entirely by robots, without the need for lighting or human workers.

What are dark factories?

Dark Factories are fully automated production lines operated by advanced robotics and artificial intelligence, without the need for lighting or direct human intervention. These factories can operate 24 hours a day, without downtime or fatigue, increasing production efficiency and reducing operating costs to an unprecedented level.

Why is China moving towards dark factories?

China is adopting this technology for several fundamental reasons:

1. Rising labor costs: As the standard of living in China has improved, workers' wages have risen, prompting companies to look for lower-cost, more efficient alternatives.

2. Achieving unprecedented productivity: Working continuously around the clock without interruption contributes to increasing productivity many times what can be achieved through human labor.

3. Reducing errors: Robots are more accurate than humans, reducing manufacturing defects and improving product quality.

4. Reducing logistical challenges: With labor market fluctuations and worker strikes, dark factories provide a stable and reliable alternative for production.

Examples of dark factories in China

Some Chinese companies have fully embraced this model. For example, Changying Precision Technology

Reduced headcount from 650 to just 60 after adopting robots, increasing productivity by 250%.

While Midea operates a completely dark factory to produce home appliances, without the need for any human intervention.

The technology driving these factories

1. Advanced industrial robots: used in precise operations such as welding, assembly, and packaging.

2. Artificial intelligence and machine learning: Improve production systems and adapt to changes independently.

3. Internet of Things (IoT): Connects machines together to coordinate operations with high efficiency.

4. Predictive maintenance: It relies on data analysis to predict breakdowns before they occur, reducing unplanned downtime.

Challenges and risks

Despite the significant benefits, dark factories raise fundamental questions about their impact on the labor market and society:

1. Industrial unemployment: The replacement of workers by robots threatens millions with job losses, exacerbating the unemployment problem.

2. High construction costs: Although they reduce operating costs in the long run, building fully automated factories requires huge investments that not all companies can afford.

3. Cybersecurity: With increasing reliance on digital systems, factories become vulnerable to cyber attacks that could completely paralyze production.

4. Loss of human skills: As the need for traditional labor declines, future generations may lose essential manufacturing skills.

Are dark factories the future?

There's no doubt that China is leading the world toward a new manufacturing future, where factories are transforming into fully automated environments. However, the bigger question remains: How can we strike a balance between technological progress and workers' rights? Will governments find solutions to reskill workers to keep pace with this transformation, or will the Fourth Industrial Revolution herald a new chapter of social challenges?

What we know for sure is that the world is changing rapidly, and those who do not keep up with this change may find themselves out of the equation.

Israeli occupation government's violation of the ceasefire

Sari Al-Qudwa

Sari Al-Qudwa

Opinion Writer

As part of its operational premises, the Israeli occupation government, headed by war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, has sought to inflame all forms of conflict and threaten Arab national security by attempting to displace the Palestinian people from their historic land and erase their legitimate rights.

Israel, the occupying power, has been working on a plan that threatens and undermines Arab national security. It plans to annex more than 70% of the West Bank and expand its occupation into Syrian and Lebanese territories. War criminal Netanyahu has repeatedly stated that he will change the Middle East and that he is waging a war on seven fronts, six of which are Arab.

The occupation government seeks to seize Arab natural resources, threatens Arab water and economic security, and works to obliterate Arab identity, steal Arab heritage, culture, and narrative, and alter the historical and legal status quo in occupied Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites, foremost among them the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. It seeks to impose Israeli sovereignty over these sites, just as it divided and controlled the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron.

The occupation government's violation of the ceasefire is a severe blow to Gaza, destroying every prospect and achievement made in recent weeks. The large number of wounded and killed is terrifying. Many residents have returned to their homes in recent weeks and are now in grave danger. At the same time, Israel, the occupying power and extremist group, continues to block all means of delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, while violating all international positions demanding that Israel abide by and comply with international humanitarian law.

The occupation government has targeted international humanitarian organizations in a crime that adds to a long list of violations that violate all humanitarian standards. It demonstrates the occupation's insistence on obstructing the international community's efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people. The ceasefire is a flagrant violation of international law and humanitarian laws, and reflects the criminal mentality of the occupation, which does not hesitate to target civilians and international humanitarian organizations that play a vital role in providing aid to those affected by its ongoing aggression.

Given the current situation, it has become imperative to impose sanctions, an economic boycott, political isolation, and legal prosecution of the occupation through international and national justice mechanisms. This is because we stand on the right side of history. We must take action, produce influential positions, and ensure immediate action by those organizations, institutions, and countries that believe in the justice of the Palestinian cause, recognize the rights of the Palestinian people, stand against the occupation, condemn the horrific Israeli crimes, and turn words into action.

The criminal Israeli government continues its war, attacking cities and camps in the West Bank, destroying Palestinian refugee camps, forcibly displacing tens of thousands from their homes, expanding illegal settler colonialism, protecting settler terrorism, promoting apartheid, demolishing homes, seizing land, destroying infrastructure, and storming cities, villages, and camps.

The Palestinian people will continue their steadfastness and legitimate struggle against the occupation until they achieve their legitimate national rights, foremost among which is their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. It has become important to move to implement the decisions of the Arab Summit and achieve national unity on the basis of commitment to the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of our people, its political program, its international obligations, and the principle of order, law, and one weapon.

To enable the government of the State of Palestine to assume governance responsibilities in the Gaza Strip, within the framework of the political and geographical unity of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967.

Will the "stigma" of defeat prevent the war on Gaza from ending?

Hussein Al-Rawashdeh

Hussein Al-Rawashdeh

Opinion Writer

It seems that Hamas will not raise the white flag even if there is no one left in Gaza. Israel, too, will not accept anything less than absolute victory, even if the war exhausts it. The equation for stopping the war, then, is difficult, because the stigma of admitting defeat is out of the question. Consequently, the race to break wills will continue.

The will to resist is based on legitimate rights, religious heritage, and the defense of existence. The will of the occupier is also based on excessive force authorized by the Trump administration, extremist religious texts, and an internal political game whose leaders refuse to leave without a military victory and heavy political costs.

There is no ruler for victory or defeat, but there is victory by goal difference. Israel has succeeded in the past 15 months in annihilating Gaza, cutting off Iran's arms, and weakening and neutralizing the resistance arenas. It has also succeeded in imposing new equations in the region, in terms of security and politics, and is almost transformed, or has already transformed, into a "policeman" or a striking force in the Middle East. The resistance, too, shattered Israel's image on October 7, and was able to withstand its military might, inflicting material and moral losses on it. The resistance, too, cannot be eradicated, for it will remain as long as the occupation remains.

Who scored more goals? Of course, it is impossible to compare a country with the most powerful army, global support, and American authorization, with a resistance with limited capabilities, isolated from any support or assistance. It is also impossible to deny the extent of the heavy losses incurred by the resistance factions, whether in terms of weapons and military capabilities, or in terms of destruction, the number of martyrs, and humanitarian disasters. This means that raising expectations or demands from the resistance (under the pretext of wishes, desires, or defending dignity) to continue the war and endure further genocide seems illogical, immoral, and devoid of any political or humanitarian justification.

I know, very well, that many, including me, will invoke the state of the Arab regime that failed the resistance, and the coming fate of the region that will be decided by Israel and from which no one will escape. Perhaps others will invoke the crisis of Israel and its weaknesses, then the resistance as the only option to curb the project to liquidate the Palestinian cause. All of this is understandable and legitimate, but reality points to other facts that cannot be denied, the most important of which is: The Palestinian cause is no longer a priority, neither in the world nor for most Arab countries. Also, the divided Palestinian reality has become incapable of carrying it. Most importantly, the project of the great Israeli war that Trump is adopting has gone beyond Palestine to the entire region. Accordingly, the question “How do we survive” has become a title for many in the region, and it is a legitimate question in light of a crisis-ridden reality.

How does Hamas think about getting out of this war or stopping it, and does it have the necessary cards (other than 59 hostages) to negotiate? And how does Tel Aviv think about snatching a major victory that will restore its prestige and refute the notion that its prestige and power were broken on October 7? The answers are difficult and require a long discussion, but what is certain is that Hamas, along with the resistance, will continue to fight until its last breath, and will not give up its weapons unless they are stripped of them by force. Likewise, Israel will not stop the war unless it turns the page on the hostages, disarms the resistance, and ends its presence in Gaza. Who will win, then, the will of force or the power of will? I leave the answer to the kind reader.

Meanwhile, Israel's war on Gaza will remain just one link in a long chain. The immediate future will see the West Bank issue resolved, followed by the demarcation of the confrontation with Iran and its remaining proxies in the region. Then, in my estimation, Washington will move to issue Trump's promise, which will be tantamount to a new Balfour Declaration to rearrange the maps of influence and perhaps the geography of the Fertile Crescent. Will this grand project succeed or not? I don't know, but what is certain is that we are facing an upcoming phase teeming with dangers, surprises, and unprecedented transformations.

About the Constitution

.............

How does Hamas plan to exit or halt this war? Does it still have the necessary bargaining chips (other than 59 hostages) to negotiate? How does Tel Aviv plan to secure a major victory that will restore its prestige and dispel the notion that its prestige and power were shattered on October 7?

Hamas made a mistake!

A review of Hamas's conduct regarding the implementation of the first phase of the truce, its discussions with US Special Envoy for Abductee Affairs Adam Boehler, and its handling of US President Donald Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff's proposal to bridge the gap between Israel and Hamas requires a careful reading of its behavior and self-criticism, with an open mind and the ability to absorb lessons learned.

Everyone is aware that the position of the US administration and the Israeli government is unanimous in principle, regardless of the ruling authority in both, in opposing the Palestinians and eliminating resistance to the occupation.

Although the first phase of the truce agreement was based on sequential implementation to ensure that the parties fulfilled their obligations stipulated in the agreement on various issues, not only regarding the exchange of prisoners and their names, but also regarding the implementation of the humanitarian protocol and Israel's commitment to begin negotiations regarding the details of the second phase on the sixteenth day, Hamas did not activate the concept of sequential implementation when the Israeli government failed to respect its obligations.

Adam Boehler's direct negotiations with Hamas leaders in Doha, which called for the release of Israeli detainees with American citizenship, could have served as a bridge to a shift, had Hamas announced or undertaken such an initiative, or even partially bridged the gap between the US administration and Netanyahu in the course of the ongoing war.

As for Witkoff's proposal, "despite its bias toward the Israeli vision of obtaining the largest possible number of Israeli detainees," it was a foregone conclusion, meant to fill the gap between the first and second phases of the January 17 agreement.

Hamas's miscalculation of the transitional period between the two phases stems from its slow decision-making, the lack of consistency in the pace of its actions with Palestinian needs, especially in the Gaza Strip, and the continued inability of the leadership outside the movement to make timely decisions without consulting the Gaza leadership, which is preoccupied with the military confrontation or is self-absorbed and self-absorbed. Hamas also fails to listen to the contributions of writers, researchers, and politicians outside its political framework, who seek the interests of citizens and are keen on the future of the Palestinian cause, or the opportunities for partnership with other Palestinian parties.

The lack of consistency between the political and military leadership in terms of time and geography obscures the ability to develop a vision consistent with the public interest and undermines the ability to understand the rapidly changing dynamics and transformations under the sway of a fascist Israeli government eager to shed Palestinian blood and resolve internal dilemmas at their expense.

Shin Bet chief: Netanyahu wants negotiations without reaching a deal

The head of Israel's internal security service, Shin Bet, Ronen Bar, said that the decision to exclude him from the negotiating team had negative repercussions and did not lead to the release of Israeli prisoners. He emphasized that the goal was to conduct negotiations without reaching a deal.

In a letter addressed to the ministers of the occupation government, Thursday evening, Bar indicated that the decision to dismiss him was made to prevent an investigation into the events of October 7.

In a letter to Israeli government ministers, Bar said that the allegations Netanyahu relied on to dismiss him were merely a cover for other, strange motives that are fundamentally unacceptable, according to Quds Press.

He added that the decision to dismiss him should have been based on clear allegations that he could respond to.

Barr continued in his letter: "Contrary to the allegations, there has been cooperation between the agency I run and the prime minister since the beginning of the war."

Barr addressed the government ministers, saying, "You are unaware of most of the details due to the prime minister's directives."

Bar stated that Netanyahu had prevented him from meeting with Israeli government ministers over the past year.

The Shin Bet chief noted in his letter that "Israel is going through a difficult and complex phase, with 59 prisoners still held in Gaza, and we have not defeated Hamas."

On the 55th day of the aggression: destruction and displacement of about 24,000 citizens from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps.

The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 55th consecutive day, and for the 42nd day against the Nur Shams camp, amid an ongoing military escalation that includes raids on homes, seizing them, and converting them into military barracks after forcibly evacuating their residents.

Wafa news agency reported, citing local sources, that the occupation forces raided homes in the Al-Muqata'a neighborhood in Tulkarm camp at dawn on Saturday, and informed all residents to leave, while firing sound bombs to terrorize them. They gave them until 12 noon to leave, while the Al-Tawil and Al-Alariya families in Abu Al-Foul neighborhood were informed to evacuate their homes.

Over the past few days, Tulkarm camp has witnessed a massive exodus of the remaining residents of its outlying neighborhoods, including Qaqun, Abu al-Ful, Marbat Hanun, al-Hadaida, and al-Matar. The exodus came after the occupation forces forced them to leave by threatening and intimidating them at gunpoint. The camp has become almost empty of its residents, with more than 12,000 refugees displaced.

In this context, the occupation forces continued their military aggression in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, amidst a tight siege. They deployed more of their vehicles and infantry units in the neighborhoods and alleys, accompanied by extensive searches of homes, shops and commercial establishments after raiding them. They fired sound bombs and live bullets, while they continued to seize a number of homes and residential buildings inside and around the two camps, turning them into military barracks, after forcing their residents to leave by force.

Last night, the occupation forces escalated their military measures in the city of Tulkarm, forcing more residents of several residential buildings in the Da'irat al-Sir neighborhood in the northern part of the city adjacent to Nablus Street to evacuate them. These buildings are: al-Waha, al-Muhandis, Abu al-Foul, and the home of the Younis family. Dozens of families were forced to leave their apartments, giving them less than two hours to evacuate, turning them into closed military barracks.

This escalation comes as part of a series of measures implemented by the occupation forces in the city, including the seizure of homes and residential buildings, specifically on Nablus Street and the adjacent area of buildings in the northern neighborhood, and converting them into military sites. Meanwhile, the occupation forces have intensified their military presence on the aforementioned street, amid measures restricting the movement of vehicles and civilians.

Israeli bulldozers closed off parts of Nablus Street, adjacent to the entrances to Tulkarm refugee camp, with earth mounds. They also seized a number of vehicles as they passed through the street and used them to block sections of it. They searched the vehicles, seized their keys, and detained their owners.

The occupation forces destroyed a traffic light in the area, specifically near Al-Firdaws Mosque, smashed ornamental trees along the street, searched passing vehicles, and tightened restrictions on citizens' movement.

The occupation forces dispatched new military reinforcements to the city, where their vehicles patrolled its streets and neighborhoods, obstructing the movement of vehicles and civilians. They raided a number of shops, vandalized their contents, and interrogated employees.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its two camps has resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and arrested, and more than 24,000 people have been forcibly displaced from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, along with dozens of families from the city's northern neighborhood.

The aggression also caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure, including homes, shops, and vehicles, which were completely and partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and stolen. The entrances and alleys of the camps were also closed off with earth mounds.

The "Title Doctrine" is the one Trump embraces, proclaims openly in his conferences and tweets, and uses his tools and arms to achieve his goals.

No one could have predicted the volatility of the out-of-control man and his coups against his closest allies. While Europe found itself overnight exposed under the shadow of his nuclear umbrella, Zelensky threatened to leave it easy prey for Putin if it did not comply with his dictates by signing an agreement to return all the bounties granted to it by his predecessor's administration, estimated at hundreds of billions of dollars.

Laws, morals, and values have no place in the agenda of a man who is infatuated with his power, his popularity, and his blatant hostility toward anyone who says a word or tweets criticizing his pathetic behavior.

The land of freedoms is no longer the same. It oppresses university students, and its police persecute all those who participated in the demonstrations denouncing the genocide in Gaza, the latest of whom was student Mahmoud Khalil, who was subjected to the most horrific forms of torture in his prison cell.

In the face of this erosion of freedoms and America's return to McCarthyism in behavior, performance, intimidation, and terror, a French representative called for the Statue of Liberty to be removed and the gift returned to its country of origin, since "America no longer represents the values that prompted France to present the statue to it."

The White House spokeswoman's response to the requester was inappropriate, as she told him, "You should be grateful to our great country, without which you would be speaking German by now!"

It is vanity, arrogance and haughtiness that have turned the republic into a kingdom, run by a real estate man who is hostile to decency, tact and politics, and who needs a dose of the vaccine of tact.

The Israeli occupation forces shot and injured a person in Marjayoun, southern Lebanon.

A Lebanese man was injured on Friday by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire at a car in the Marjayoun district in the south of the country, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that "enemy forces had just opened fire on a citizen's car while it was traveling on the internal road between the towns of Kfar Kila and Adaisseh, injuring him."

She added that the citizen was transferred to the hospital for treatment, without revealing the severity of his injury.

On October 8, 2023, Israel launched an aggression against Lebanon, which escalated into a full-scale war on September 23, 2024, leaving 4,115 martyrs and 16,909 wounded, including a large number of children and women, in addition to the displacement of approximately 1.4 million people.

Despite a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on November 27, 2024, Israel committed 1,188 violations, leaving at least 94 dead and 300 wounded, according to an Anadolu Agency tally based on official Lebanese data.

Israel has reneged on its commitment to complete its withdrawal from southern Lebanon by February 18, contrary to the agreement. Instead, it has implemented a partial withdrawal and continues to occupy five major Lebanese hills, within the areas it occupied during the last war.

It has also recently begun establishing a border strip extending one or two kilometers inside Lebanese territory.

Israel claims that the reason for its continued presence on the five hills is the Lebanese army's failure to fully fulfill its duties under the ceasefire agreement and its inability to maintain security along the Blue Line, a claim Beirut denies.

The Israeli occupation army claims to have assassinated the head of Hamas' military intelligence.

Israeli occupation forces claimed on Friday to have assassinated the head of Hamas' military intelligence in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army claimed in a statement that it "carried out an assassination targeting the head of Hamas' military intelligence in southern Gaza yesterday, Thursday."

The statement claimed that the target was Osama Tabash, who was also the head of the movement's monitoring and targeting unit.

There was no immediate comment from Hamas on these allegations.

The Israeli occupation army announced on Thursday that it had assassinated Rashid Jahjouh, a Hamas leader in Gaza, as part of a series of targeted killings of Hamas leaders in recent days, coinciding with the occupation's resumption of airstrikes and ground operations in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee reported via the X platform that the army and the internal security service (Shabak) targeted "in recent days Rashid Jahjouh, who assumed his position after the assassination of his predecessor, Sami Odeh, in July 2024."

Adraee also claimed that the occupation forces assassinated Ismail Abdel Aal, whom he described as a prominent member of the Islamic Jihad movement, in a separate raid.

Guterres: Israeli settlement expansion threatens the establishment of a Palestinian state

UN Secretary-General António Guterres said on Friday that the continued expansion of Israeli settlements represents an "existential threat to the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state."

This was stated by the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process (ad interim), Sigrid Kaag, during her briefing to the UN Security Council on the implementation of Resolution 2334, which called on Israel to immediately cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory.

Kach explained that Guterres stressed that Palestinians are "increasingly confined to shrinking and disconnected areas, dramatically altering the landscape and demographic composition of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem," according to the United Nations.

She said that Guterres believes that the continued expansion of Israeli settlements represents "an existential threat to the possibility of establishing a contiguous, independent, and viable Palestinian state."

Kach noted that between December 7, 2024, and March 13, 2025, settlement activity continued at a high rate, with Israel advancing or approving approximately 10,600 settlement units in the occupied West Bank, including 4,920 units in East Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, Israeli authorities demolished, seized, sealed, or forced people to demolish 460 Palestinian structures, displacing 576 people, half of them children, according to the United Nations.

The Security Council adopted Resolution 2334 in 2016, which, among other things, calls for immediate steps to prevent violence against civilians, refrain from provocative actions and inflammatory rhetoric, and reverse negative trends that threaten the two-state solution.

Kach expressed her sorrow over the death of a UN employee in an attack on a UN site in Gaza two days ago, which also injured five other employees.

She also expressed "deep concern over the resumption of hostilities in Gaza this week, which has claimed the lives of hundreds of Palestinians, most of them women and children."

The Secretary-General reiterated his call for the resumption of serious ceasefire negotiations, unhindered humanitarian access, and the "immediate and unconditional" release of the remaining hostages.

On Wednesday, the head of the United Nations Office for Project Services, Jorge Moreira da Silva, announced the death of a UN employee and the injury of five others in an airstrike on Gaza.

Since Tuesday dawn, Israel has resumed its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, reneging on the 58-day ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas that began on January 19, 2025. Tel Aviv then announced the commencement of ground operations in the Strip, as if to reset the situation to square one.

The Israeli army intensified its genocidal crimes with violent airstrikes targeting civilians, resulting in "591 martyrs and 1,042 wounded, 70 percent of whom were children, women, and the elderly," according to a statement from the government media office in Gaza.

With full American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 162,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.

UN: Israeli colonial expansion threatens the two-state solution and exacerbates the suffering of Palestinians

UN Secretary-General António Guterres stressed that the continued expansion of Israeli settlements "is profoundly altering the landscape and demographic composition of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem." He asserted that Palestinians are "increasingly confined to ever-shrinking and disconnected territories, posing an existential threat to the possibility of a contiguous, viable, and independent Palestinian state."

This was stated by the Acting UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Sigrid Kaag, during her briefing to the UN Security Council on the implementation of Resolution 2334, which called on Israel to immediately cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory.

Kach noted that during the reporting period – from December 7, 2024, to March 13, 2025 – settlement activity continued at a high rate, with Israel advancing or approving nearly 106,000 settlement units in the occupied West Bank, including 4,920 units in East Jerusalem. Meanwhile, Israeli occupying authorities demolished, seized, sealed, or forced people to demolish 460 Palestinian structures, displacing 576 people, half of them children.

At the beginning of her remarks, Kaag paid tribute to her UN colleagues and all humanitarian workers in Gaza, both Palestinian and international. She expressed her sadness over the death of a UN staff member in an attack on a UN site, which also injured five other staff members.

She also expressed "deep concern over the resumption of hostilities in Gaza this week, which has claimed the lives of hundreds, most of them women and children."

She reiterated the Secretary-General's call for the resumption of serious ceasefire negotiations and unhindered access for humanitarian aid.

Implementation of Resolution 2334

The Security Council adopted Resolution 2334 in 2016, which calls for, among other things, immediate steps to prevent violence against civilians, refrain from provocative actions and inflammatory rhetoric, and reverse negative trends that threaten the two-state solution—all of which continued at an alarming rate during the reporting period.

Kaag affirmed that the Secretary-General "unequivocally condemns the widespread killing and injury of civilians, and the destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza," stressing that nothing can justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people.

Guterres also condemned indiscriminate attacks and the use of human shields, urging all parties to respect their obligations under international humanitarian law. He reiterated his call for a sustainable ceasefire and urged the parties to redouble efforts to end the humanitarian suffering.

The UN official said that the Secretary-General rejects the forced displacement of the Palestinian population from any part of the occupied Palestinian territory, "which constitutes a serious violation of human rights and international humanitarian law, and strongly rejects any form of ethnic cleansing."

Kaag said the Secretary-General was appalled by the "dire humanitarian situation," stressing that "humanitarian aid is non-negotiable."

The Secretary-General strongly condemned the Israeli occupying authorities' suspension of humanitarian aid to Gaza since 2 March, and urged the immediate resumption of humanitarian aid and commercial goods.

Alarming situation in the West Bank

Regarding the occupied West Bank, Kach expressed deep concern about the escalation of violence and the increasing displacement of Palestinians – several refugee camps have been nearly emptied of their residents – who remain denied the right to return to their homes.

She said the Secretary-General was deeply concerned about any long-term presence of Israeli occupation forces in the camps, a fact confirmed by the occupation authorities last month.

The Secretary-General also strongly condemned all acts of violence against civilians, including acts of terrorism, and expressed concern about deadly attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians, sometimes in close proximity to and with the support of the Israeli occupying forces.

He renewed his call to the concerned parties to respect and preserve the status quo at the holy sites in Jerusalem, while taking into account Jordan's special and historical role.

Guterres reiterated that there is no alternative to UNRWA and condemned the violation of the sanctity of UN premises, including the attempted forcible closure of UNRWA schools. Kaag said, "National legislation cannot alter Israel's obligations under international law."

political solution

The Secretary-General welcomed the ongoing efforts of countries in the region, international partners, and the Palestinian Authority, including the Gaza reconstruction plan endorsed by the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

He said that Gaza and the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, should be treated as a single entity, politically, economically and administratively.

Kach said everyone must work together to establish a "political framework that sets out concrete, irreversible, and time-bound steps."

She added that the occupation must end as soon as possible, and that a viable two-state solution is "long overdue."
