On Sunday, two Israelis and another Egyptian were killed by gunfire in the Mansheya area in Alexandria, Egypt.
According to a security source, while one of the Israeli tourist groups was at the Umud al-Sawari shrine, a police officer assigned to serve as security in the area randomly fired shots from his personal weapon.
The shooting led to the death of two Israelis and an Egyptian, and the injury of another, who was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The security source indicated that the police officer was immediately arrested, while legal measures are being taken against him.
