Israel army detains Palestinian principal and teachers of South Hebron School

Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces detained the director and teachers of the Shaab al-Buttam Mixed Basic School at the entrance to the village of al-Tuwanah in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

According to local sources, the occupation forces detained for an hour and a half the director of Shaab al-Batm Mixed Basic School, Arif Abu Karsh, and a number of school teachers at a military checkpoint they set up at the entrance to the village of al-Tuwanah, east of Yatta, and searched their vehicles and checked their ID cards.

It is noteworthy that Shaab Al-Buttam Mixed Basic School is one of the schools of challenge and steadfastness, and more than 50 students receive education, and the occupation authorities had notified it of its demolition in early August of last year.

The day before yesterday, the occupation forces obstructed the arrival of teachers and students to 27 schools east of Yatta, south of Hebron.
