Israel reopens the "Erez" checkpoint to Palestinian workers

On Thursday, the Israeli occupation authorities reopened the Beit Hanoun “Erez” checkpoint to allow the movement of workers from the Gaza Strip to the Green Line areas.

Thousands of workers crowded in front of the checkpoint since last night, to enter the Green Line, and were forced to spend the night in front of it, waiting for the opportunity to enter at the appropriate time.

The opening of the checkpoint comes after 12 days of continuous closure under the pretext of continuing border marches.
