Gaza: Back to school for students

On Saturday morning, more than 625,000 male and female students went to school in the Gaza Strip, after an annual vacation that lasted about 3 months.

Of the total number, 305 thousand are in public schools, approximately 300 thousand are in UNRWA schools, and 21 thousand are in private schools.

Some recreational activities and events were allocated to receive students on the first day.

The total number of schools in the Gaza Strip is 803, including 448 government schools, 288 UNRWA schools, and 67 private schools. More than 22,000 teachers supervise the educational process, including 12,000 in the government, 9,300 in UNRWA, and 1,300 teachers in private schools.
