The heart of Netanyahu and the heart of Israel
After a family picnic, which Benjamin Netanyahu spent on the shores of Lake Kinneret, the prime minister fell ill, and his heart was filled with worries, which required the implantation of a device to organize his work, and by doing so, the heart of the state stopped for hours, during which the cabinet meeting was postponed. In order to mitigate the impact of the health situation on public opinion in Israel, he was not named an acting prime minister, which gave the impression that the situation did not require that, until he was hospitalized again, and his partner in the risk of reforming the judiciary, Yariv Levin, was named acting, and he was not Netanyahu, while under medical supervision, refuses to announce that he will leave the hospital within hours to join the “Knesset” to vote on one of the most important problematic items in the judicial reform project, called the “reasonableness” item, which, when approved in the “Knesset” for the second and third readings, will lead to a crisis. Greater Israel is a new turning point, which is estimated to be the most dangerous for the state, and not for the government and the coalition that makes it up.
The heart of Netanyahu, who will work in an organized way, is similar to the heart of Israel that is burdened with worries that have not benefited from it until now, neither the injections of strengthening nor the remedial measures, and there is no doubt that the heart of Netanyahu seems to be in a better condition than the heart of the state, which is getting more turbulent with each passing day, and its latest manifestation is the strike of the pilots on training. Threatening thousands of members of the armed forces and security services, who are in service and retired, that they will escalate their rebellion if Netanyahu’s coalition persists in its game and refrains from stopping the vote on the “reasonableness” clause in the process of reforming the judiciary.
The story of the pilots and members of the army and security services, despite its direct danger to the security of the state and the readiness to work in attack and defense, comes second to the possibility of the “Histadrut” carrying out a comprehensive strike, which means complete paralysis in public life in all its aspects, recalling what happened a few weeks ago, when he joined The Histadrut of the protests, and the terrible paralysis that forced Netanyahu to postpone the vote; Especially since he was forced to move from his home to Ben Gurion Airport, tens of kilometers away by land, by military helicopter, because he could not pass to the airport, and this happened for the first time with him, and perhaps with other heads of government!
The verse of pre-Islamic poetry, some of which say: “So we are ignorant above the ignorance of the ignorant” seems exactly as if it is the most accurate description of the government and the opposition’s dealings with the major and ongoing crisis. It is the beginning of surrender and betrayal of the street, and the coalition - so far - is not willing to submit to the opposition's demands, as it is certain that submission this time will lead to losing the battle, and later to losing the government.
Netanyahu's heart, which was organized by advanced technology, endured crises and challenges as others who preceded him in power could not bear, until his leadership career became associated with fierce battles, sometimes from within his political house, the "Likud", and at other times from his main allies, from the various formations. The right-wing movement that brought him to the point where his coalition with them is a crucial matter for him, without ignoring his silent and declared crises with the American administrations, starting with Obama and even Biden, which were punctuated by a short period of rest, when Trump ascended to power to produce the “deal of the century” that Archive deposited, possibly until further notice!
The major crisis in Israel is likely to worsen and become intractable, and is no longer just an internal crisis between the government and the opposition, and between the street and parliament. Rather, it extended beyond the borders of the state, and the most important thing that Israel values is the alliance relationship with the United States, which has a special dimension, related to the army and security services.
So far, it seems that the American calls for mutual concessions that lead to broad understandings about the process of reforming the judiciary and its close connection to democracy and the quality of governance have been futile, including the invitation of the head of state before; And even as a substitute for the prime minister, to the White House and Congress.
Despite its direct interventions in the crisis since its inception, and despite its veiled and sometimes explicit threats, the administration has failed to do what really frightens Israel, which is the US's recalibration of the relationship with it.
Finally... Netanyahu's heart got an effective organizer who has the ability to organize his work, but what has not yet been invented is that organizer that the heart of the state needs, while it is in the depth of the most dangerous and longest crisis it has been suffering from since its founding, to what is not known when it will end and what it will result in. !
