In exchange for steps, including: The Israeli Cabinet is taking steps to prevent the collapse of the PA

The Israeli Cabinet decided, on Sunday evening, to adopt a proposed resolution put forward by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to strengthen the Palestinian Authority and prevent its collapse through a series of steps aimed at supporting it economically.


According to the Hebrew Channel Seven, this was approved with the approval of 8 members, while another opposed, and one abstained from adopting it, apparently with a reference to the two extremist ministers, Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich.


The Israeli Cabinet linked this to stopping the activities of the Palestinian Authority against Israel politically and legally, in reference to the International Criminal Court, in addition to what was described as “incitement” in the educational curricula, stopping paying the salaries of the families of martyrs and prisoners, and stopping construction, which was described as “illegal” in the occupied areas. (c).


And accepted the rest of Netanyahu's proposals, including the continuation of work firmly to thwart "terrorism", and will be presented to the cabinet measures to establish civil stability in the Palestinian arena.
