What is striking about the story of the general secretaries' calling for an emergency meeting is that the word "emergency" indicates that there are regular and periodic meetings, and this is something that does not exist.

It is also remarkable that after all the battles, wars, challenges and bloodshed that took place, the desired meeting will develop a comprehensive national vision.. as if the challenges began yesterday and require treatment today.

The meeting is a traditional procedure that is resorted to after every battle, and sometimes it is said that the meeting will remain in a permanent state! Will the emergency meeting actually take place? And how? and where? And when? We will know as long as we still listen to the radio and read the newspapers!

What is also striking is the decision to legalize the relationship with the American administration. This decision contains a paradox, which is that the ones who initiated the legalization of the relationship were the Americans, who not only legalized their diplomatic relations, but also turned against the Palestinians and changed the foundations and mechanisms of relations with them in form and substance.
