Palestinian child killed in trampling accident near Hebron

A 2-year-old girl was killed in a trampling accident in Al-Dhahiriya town, south of Hebron, on Thursday.

The police's spokesman, Colonel Louay Arziqat, stated that the the child was accidentally treaded on in the yard of the house by one of her relatives. The child was subsequently transferred to Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron with serious injuries.

Arziqa added that the Public Prosecution Office was informed and that the police are investigating the accident.
