A settler was run over near Hawara

On Sunday evening, a settler was run over near Hawara, south of Nablus.

According to the Israeli army spokesman, a vehicle rushed towards a soldier in the Mehwar area and ran over him, sustaining minor injuries. Another soldier, who was accompanying him, opened fire on the vehicle, which fled the scene.

While the Israeli army forces are searching for the driver of the vehicle and investigating the motives.

The Israeli occupation forces also forced the owners of shops to close them, and closed the secondary roads inside the town, amid intensive deployment in the area.
