Saudi Championship: A valuable victory for Al-Hilal over Dhamak

Al-Hilal achieved an easy victory when it defeated its host, Dhamak, 1-0, in a postponed match in the 26th stage of the Saudi Football League, on Friday, at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Al-Mahalla.


The only goal of the match was scored by Malian Musa Mariga (70), and Al-Hilal raised its score to 53 in fourth place, with a goal difference from the third youth, who has the same balance, while Dhamak remained in eleventh place with 32 points.


Al-Hilal dominated most of the course of the first half, and had an opportunity when Argentine Luciano Vietto raised a cross and played it with his head next to the post (9).


And from a quick attack, Dhamak almost snatched a goal when the Algerian Hilal Soudani received a ball inside the penalty area and played it powerfully next to the post (16). Habib Al-Watyan, Al-Hilal goalkeeper, saved his goal from a goal when he tackled Mansour Hamzi’s solitary ball and ended its danger (30).


Al-Hilal missed an opportunity to score when the ball was set against Nigerian Odion Ighalo, but he played it strong over the crossbar (40).


In the second half, Al-Hilal continued its technical advantage, but its attacks were not dangerous until Muhammad Al-Buraik aimed a powerful ball, which was blocked by Algerian goalkeeper Mustafa Zaghba and turned into a corner (65).


After several attempts, Al-Hilal succeeded in scoring when Malian Musa Mariga received a ball inside the penalty area, which he hit hard and hit the defender's foot and made its way into the goal (70).


An opportunity was provided to join you to equalize the score, but Abdullah Hawsawi played the ball easy in the arms of goalkeeper Habib Al-Wattian (90), before the Algerian Farouk Shafei played a header that passed near the post.
