Jordanian Foreign Ministry: We will deal with the issue of the deputy Al-Adwan, who is arrested in Israel, as soon as possible

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ambassador Sinan Al-Majali , said that the ministry, in coordination with all concerned authorities, is following up the case of Representative Imad Al-Adwan , who was arrested by the Israeli authorities for interrogation on the background of an alleged smuggling of quantities of weapons and gold.

Majali said that the ministry, in cooperation with the concerned agencies in the Kingdom, is working to find out the merits of the situation and address it as soon as possible.

Jordanian jurists told media outlets in the Kingdom of Jordan that the deputy loses his immunity outside the country, and therefore the Israeli Penal Code will be applied to him unless there is political interference.
