Awqaf Council: Bab Al-Rahma Chapel is an authentic part of Al-Aqsa

The Council of Islamic Endowments, Affairs and Holy Sites in Jerusalem affirmed, on Saturday, that the Bab al-Rahma chapel is an authentic part of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque with its entire area of 144 dunums, and will remain a purely Islamic mosque that does not accept division or partnership and that it belongs to all Muslims.

In a statement about what happened in the Bab al-Rahma chapel, the council expressed its rejection of the continuous blatant interference by the occupation police and its obstruction of the work of reconstructing Al-Aqsa Mosque, and its deliberate sabotage of the maintenance and restoration work of the Islamic Endowments Department of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Council stressed that the blatant violations and aggressive actions carried out by the occupation police against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and in the Bab Al-Rahma chapel in particular for premeditated goals will not be achieved.
