President Abbas meets the Saudi Crown Prince in Jeddah

President Mahmoud Abbas met with the Saudi Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman , in the city of Jeddah.


President Abbas briefed the Saudi Crown Prince on the latest political developments in the Palestinian cause and the situation in the occupied Palestinian territory.


The President praised the great achievements and the comprehensive renaissance achieved by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields in light of its Vision 2030, and the work to strengthen the Kingdom’s presence and raise its leading position at the regional and international levels, appreciating its active and important role in supporting the nation’s issues, at the forefront of which is support for the cause of our Palestinian people, all the way to To obtain his legitimate rights to freedom, independence and sovereignty in the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and adherence to the Arab peace initiative.


The meeting discussed the Palestinian-Saudi brotherly relations and ways to strengthen them, and it was agreed to continue coordination at all levels. The situation in the region was also discussed, and ways to make the upcoming Arab summit in Riyadh a success. The meeting was an opportunity during which the President congratulated His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, on the anniversary of The sixth pledge of allegiance to His Highness, the achievements made during it, and his wishes for the Kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, for goodness, brilliance and prosperity at the national, regional and global levels.


For his part, the Saudi Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdom's firm positions to support the Palestinian cause and for the Palestinian people to obtain their freedom and independence.
