The European Union calls for preserving the legal status of holy places

The European Union expressed its dissatisfaction with the Israeli occupation forces' storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling for preserving the legal status of the holy places.

"The European Union is closely following the course of events in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories," said Peter Stano, a spokesman for the European Commission.
