Some Western officials avoid talking about the culprit in the Nord Stream attack.

Despite the eagerness to know who was involved in the bombing of the " Nord Stream " pipelines, some Western officials are not keen to find out who seriously damaged the two natural gas pipelines last September, The Washington Post reported Monday.

A senior European diplomat said that during meetings with decision-makers from Europe and NATO, officials settled into repeating the adage: "Don't talk about Nord Stream," according to the report.

"Since no country has yet been ruled out as a possible perpetrator, officials said they are loath to share suspicions that could inadvertently anger a friendly government that may have had a hand in the Nord Stream bombing," the report added.
