The governorate of Tunis ranked first in the number of accidents with 890 traffic accidents, resulting in 92 deaths and 1,220 injuries, followed by the governorate of Ben Arous with 422 accidents, then the governorate of Nabeul with 420 accidents, then the governorate of Mahdia with 312 traffic accidents, and the governorate of Sfax with 282 accidents. .

Tunisia is considered one of the countries in which traffic accidents abound, as official reports indicate that the rate of traffic accidents reaches 30 accidents per day, killing at least 3 people and injuring 40, which is equivalent to one death every 8 hours, in addition to material losses.
