Personalities who founded the Zionist entity - Baron Rothschild

Previously, we have been exposed to Christian Zionism since its roots in the sixteenth century, through the Calvinist idea, then Oliver Cromwell (17th century) and the Puritans, to the first statesman who demanded a state for the Jews, Napoleon Bonaparte, who was defeated by the Palestinian Arab Acre, to Lord Shavestbury and his cousin Lord Palmerston, the English Foreign Minister, who were Zionists, Then Moses Montefiore and his money. We will present about Rothschild in this article:

David Ben-Gurion, the Polish Jew, the first Israeli prime minister, wrote in his praise of Rothschild, saying: “I doubt if we would find in all generations of the Jewish [1] people over two thousand years a wonderful person like this who built the Jewish settlement in this homeland.”
Baron Edmond de Rothschild (1845-1934 AD), French by nationality and nationalism, Jewish by religion, contributed to the construction of the Jewish colonization of Palestine, as he was a central figure in the colonization of Palestine and the theft of Arab land, and his wealth and his family had the greatest role in Jewish colonization / settlement.

He began in the Jewish colonization since the beginning of the eighties of the 19th century, when the settlements that were built by the "Loves of Zion" organization [2] - before the emergence of the Zionist movement were exposed to a financial crisis, so his family took it upon itself to finance the first British colony for the Jews "Petah Tikvah", and he Baron Rothschild organized the first mass immigration of Jews to Palestine in 1882, and he also donated 30,000 dunums of land that he owned during the Ottoman rule in the Caesarea region to the Jews.

He left his mark on Jewish industrialization when he built the first factories in Israel, agricultural factories and power plants. In 1924, he established the PICA Company, the Association for the Jewish Colonization of Palestine.

His role did not stop at that, as his family, to this day, owns huge funds to finance various projects that work to serve the occupying state around the world. It also finances research and provides student scholarships to the occupiers of the Hebrew state in Palestine.

Abd al-Wahhab al-Masiri says about Rothschild: “The first colonies/settlements in Palestine would not have continued without his aid.” Then the Arab-Egyptian thinker referred to Rothschild's direct contact with Sultan Abdul Hamid II, and his obtaining from him permission to buy land in Palestine in late 1883 to establish a "exemplary (Zionist) agricultural outpost for his own account, which he called his mother's name, and he also established industries for settlers such as glass and olive oil, And a number of mills in Haifa, and salt mills in Atlit.”[3]

Important footnote
[1] Throughout history, there has been no such thing as the Jewish “people.” Rather, the Jews are various groups of different nationalities who embraced a different religion, as is the case with Muslims, Christians, and so on. Shlomo Sand responded in detail in his book The Invention of the Jewish "People".

2 “Loves of Zion” is a name given to Zionist associations that originated in Russia in 1881 AD; After the issuance of the May Laws, which imposed restrictions on Russian Jewish citizens there between 1881 and 1883 AD, and on the movement of Jewish immigrants from Russia, Poland and Romania to Palestine, the “First Migration 1881-1904”. The goal of the Lovers of Zion movement was to combat the integration of Jews into the societies in which they live, and to "return to Zion." It took its slogan "to Palestine" and called for readiness to immigrate to buy land there, and to help the Jewish settlement there. The movement of the Lovers of Zion was the link between what was called the "vanguards of Zionism" in the middle of the nineteenth century, and the beginning of political Zionism with the emergence of Theodore Herzl and the convening of the first Zionist Congress in 1897 AD - the Palestinian National Information Center.
