In a statement, the Commission demanded, after an urgent visit to Shtayyeh, his immediate release.

The authority confirmed that Shtayyeh is currently in Jericho Governmental Hospital, and his visit is a researcher from the authority to check on his health condition.

She indicated that the information available to her is that he is on a hunger strike and refraining from taking medicine, noting that he needs medical care, and is demanding his release in response to the court's decision.

It is noteworthy that the Magistrate's Court in Jericho had issued a decision to release Musab Shtayyeh, who was pursued by the occupation, but it was not implemented.
