In a statement, the ministry warned of the catastrophic dangers resulting from the demolition of Palestinian homes and facilities, and the unprecedented escalation in its commission, as a "war crime" and a "crime against humanity."

It described these violations as the worst forms of ethnic cleansing committed by the Israeli government and its various arms on a daily basis in the occupied Palestinian territory in a quiet and gradual manner, so that the international community does not feel it.

The Ministry considered that the accumulations of ongoing demolitions are frightening and widespread, and lead to the displacement of Palestinian families, including children, women, the elderly, and the sick, and leave them in the open without shelter, in gross and flagrant violation of international law and the Geneva Conventions.

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for the results and repercussions of this crime on the conflict arena, and its negative repercussions on the relationship between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.

It also held the international community responsible for its suspicious silence regarding this ongoing crime, and for its contention with some lackluster reactions, which do not constitute any pressure on the Israeli government to stop it.
