The New York Times newspaper suspended a Palestinian photographer from work

Gaza - "Jerusalem" dot com - The American newspaper The New York Times suspended photojournalist Hossam Salem , a resident of the Gaza Strip, from working under the pretext of "anti-Semitism."

According to what Salem wrote on his Facebook page, he was informed of the decision to stop him from working as a freelance photojournalist with the newspaper via a quick phone call.

He pointed out that he later understood that the decision was taken on the charge of "anti-Semitism", which is the same charge that was leveled against other Palestinian journalists who were recently dismissed in the same way, by a Dutch journalist who holds Israeli citizenship.

And Salem indicated that this journalist discussed in a report his publications (i.e. Hussam himself) in which he supports the resistance and the Palestinian people during the repeated Israeli aggression.

Salem accused The New York Times of blatant bias towards the occupation.
