Field sources reported the martyrdom of Colonel Muhammad Marwan Salem, Director of Jabalia Camp Police Station, along with several officers and members of the Palestinian police, following an airstrike carried out by Israeli occupation aircraft. The raid targeted a security point located in the Faluja area, near the Shadia Abu Ghazaleh School, west of the camp in the northern Gaza Strip, leading to the destruction of the site and casualties among those present, including martyrs and wounded.
This new massacre resulted in the martyrdom of six people, including a woman who was in the vicinity of the targeted site, in addition to several citizens sustaining injuries of varying severity. This operation comes within the framework of the systematic targeting by the occupation of police and service personnel working to organize internal affairs in the northern sector, thus continuing its violation of all international conventions on the 277th day of the aggression.
In the southern sector, occupation forces continued to target displaced persons' gatherings, where the child Moataz Abu Shaar was martyred due to gunfire from occupation vehicles targeting the Mawasi Rafah area, which is crowded with tents. An Israeli drone also launched a raid targeting a displaced persons' tent near the Tiba Towers, west of Khan Yunis city, leading to the martyrdom of citizen Hussam Muhammad Ramadan Al-Shafei, 36 years old, and the injury of three others, including a woman and a child.
In a related context, medical sources announced the martyrdom of citizen Basem Mosaad Ermilat, who succumbed to severe injuries he sustained two days earlier as a result of an Israeli shelling that targeted Al-Qadisiyah camp. Medical teams face extreme difficulties in dealing with the increasing number of injured amidst a severe shortage of medical supplies and most hospitals in the targeted areas being completely or partially out of service.
As for the central region of the Gaza Strip, the occupation artillery renewed its intense shelling since the early morning hours, with the shelling focusing on the northeastern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp. The artillery shells caused widespread destruction to infrastructure and citizens' properties, while successive explosions were heard resulting from the continuous shelling operations aimed at terrorizing the residents and forcing them into displacement.
