Occupation forces launched on Thursday a series of incursions and raids in several cities and towns in the Bank and Jerusalem, resulting in the arrest of a number of citizens, amid continuous violations against Palestinians.
In the city of Hebron, south of the Bank, sources reported that the forces raided the home of Sheikh Hatem Qafisha and arrested him, and also arrested citizen Muhammad Ali Al-Najjar in the "Qanan Al-Taweel" area of Yatta city during a wide field campaign that targeted homes.
In northern Jerusalem, arrests included teenager Yanal Qassem Abadi and four other young men in Anata town during continuous raids. In Qalqilya city, forces arrested young man Muhammad Sa'sa' after storming his home, while released prisoner Jumaa Ramadan was arrested in Zeita Jama'in town, south of Nablus.
Ramallah governorate also witnessed raids that resulted in the arrest of two young men, Mujahid Ghazi Na'san and Bahaa Fouad Abu Alia, after storming their homes in the eastern neighborhood of Al-Mughayyir village.
These arrests reflect the continued policy of the occupation forces in escalating daily incursions in the West Bank and Jerusalem, which include raiding homes, vandalizing their contents, and arresting citizens, as part of what sources described as continuous pressure on Palestinians.
