Israeli Army Demolishes Home of Palestinian It Killed Last July

The Israeli army demolished, on Wednesday, the home of a Palestinian it killed last July, in the town of Bazaria northwest of the city of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

Eyewitnesses reported that a force from the Israeli army stormed the town accompanied by a military bulldozer and began demolishing the home of the Palestinian Malik Ismail Salem.

The witnesses clarified that the army forces closed the entrances to the town and the road connecting the cities of Jenin and Nablus, which led to disrupting the educational process in the town.

On July 10 last year, the Israeli army killed Salem after shooting him along with another Palestinian in the Gush Etzion settlement south of Bethlehem, claiming they carried out a stabbing and shooting operation, and Tel Aviv still holds their bodies.

Since the start of the genocide war on Gaza that lasted two years, the Israeli escalation in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, has led to the killing of at least 1103 Palestinians, injuring nearly 11,000, and arresting more than 21,000, according to Palestinian data.

Meanwhile, the genocide launched by Israel with American support in Gaza on October 8, 2023, has left nearly 71,000 Palestinian dead and more than 171,000 injured, mostly children and women, in addition to massive destruction, with the United Nations estimating the cost of reconstruction at around 70 billion dollars.
