وقالت المكافحة، في تصريح لها، إن معلومات وردت إليها بوجود كمية من الحبوب المخدرة والحشيش معدة للترويج في دير البلح، لافتة إلى أنه تم إجراء التحريات والمتابعة اللازمة على مدار الأيام الماضية.
وأوضحت أنه تم استصدار إذن من النيابة وتفتيش منزل أحد المروجين، وذلك بواسطة قوة من فرع مكافحة الوسطى وبإسناد من شرطة التدخل والشرطة النسائية.
وبيّنت أنه تم خلال التفتيش ضبط كمية من الحشيش والحبوب وهي: 30 أصبع حشيش، و54 حبة "روتانا"، و8 حبات "أترامال"، و3 حبات "لاريكا"، إلى جانب مبلغ يقدر بـ 1880 شيقل من عوائد ترويج المخدرات.

وأضافت المكافحة أنه تم توقيف صاحب المنزل (أ، ق) وهو من المروجين أصحاب العود الإجرامي، ومصادرة المضبوطات، وإحالة القضية إلى النيابة العامة لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية في القضية.
