The foreign ministers of Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the Emirates expressed their deep concern regarding the statements issued by the Israeli side about opening the Rafah crossing in one direction with the aim of expelling residents of the Gaza Strip to Egypt.
The foreign ministers of the eight countries issued a joint statement in which they expressed their categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land.
The statement affirmed full commitment to the American plan, including opening the Rafah crossing in both directions, ensuring freedom of movement for residents, and not forcing any of the residents of the Strip to leave, but rather creating the appropriate conditions for them to remain on their land and participate in building their homeland, within the framework of a comprehensive vision aimed at restoring stability and improving their humanitarian conditions.
The ministers renewed their appreciation for the United States' commitment to establishing peace in the region, and stressed the importance of moving forward in implementing the American plan in all its requirements without delay or disruption, in a way that achieves security and peace and consolidates the foundations of regional stability.
They stressed the need to fully establish a ceasefire, put an end to the suffering of civilians, ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip without restrictions or obstacles, begin early recovery and reconstruction efforts, and create the conditions for the return of the Palestinian Authority to assume its responsibilities in Gaza, in a way that establishes a new phase of security and stability in the region.
The ministers also expressed their countries' readiness to continue working and coordinating with the United States and all concerned regional and international parties to ensure the full implementation of Security Council Resolution No. 2803, and all related Council resolutions, and to provide a favorable environment for achieving a just, comprehensive and sustainable peace in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the principle of a two-state solution, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, including the occupied territories in Gaza and the West Bank, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
On October 10, 2025, a ceasefire agreement came into effect in Gaza and an exchange of prisoners between Hamas and the occupation, according to the American plan, but the occupation continues to violate the agreement on a daily basis, which has led to the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of Palestinians.
With American support, the occupation launched a war on Gaza, which left tens of thousands of Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women.
In addition to the victims, most of whom are children and women, the war caused massive destruction in Gaza, with a large reconstruction cost.
We categorically reject any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land.
