Qatari Prime Minister: A clear mandate for the international force in Gaza must be issued.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, stated that a clear mandate must be issued for the international force that will be deployed in Gaza under U.S. President Donald Trump's plan.

This was mentioned during the Qatari Prime Minister's interview with CNN.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman emphasized the necessity for the international force to have a clear mandate, explaining, "We are working with Washington to obtain it."

He stated that the point of contact between the people of Gaza and the international force should be Palestinian.

In the same context, Jordan and Germany confirmed that the international force expected to be deployed in the Gaza Strip must receive a mandate from the United Nations Security Council.

Earlier, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said, "We all agree that for the stability force to be effective in carrying out its mission, it must receive a mandate from the United Nations Security Council."

German Foreign Minister Johan Wadephol expressed Berlin's support for granting the international force in Gaza a UN mandate, as it will "need clear backing in international law."
